Mauricio Pochettino’s done an amazing job of making Spurs a legitimate top 4 contender during his time at the club; the fact that they so effortlessly ended Chelsea’s winning streak is proof of that. His tactics and man management have generally been well-received and he is a well-respected figure at the club.
However, the Argentine has garnered some online notoriety for something entirely different: the Pochettino Pose. In pictures taken alongside a Spurs player who is signing a contract extension, the manager is always captured with his right arm over the players’ shoulder. Amusingly, he’s also worn the same suit in all those pictures.
Spurs left-back Danny Rose was recently interviewed alongside fellow full-back Kyle Walker; inevitably, he was asked about the Pochettino Pose. The England international had a laugh about it and even went on to reveal a hilarious tidbit about the pictures being taken.
