Antonio Conte was dead serious when he threatened to kill any Chelsea player not giving his 100% (Video)

Despite the ending of their winning streak to rivals Tottenham, Chelsea still look firm favourites to lift the Premier League trophy at the end of this season. After finishing 10th last season, the Blues have experienced a stunning turnaround under Antonio Conte, who has breathed fresh life into the squad.

Not only are the tactics being used extremely sound, but Conte has done his absolute best to bring out the best of all his players. This has resulted in much-maligned talents like Pedro, Willian and Gary Cahill producing consistently good performances week in and week out.

However, the Italian also has extremely high expectations from his players. This was one of several topics discussed by the current Chelsea manager during a Sky Sports interview with Thierry Henry.

During the talk, Conte remarked that he’s willing to ‘kill’ a player if he perceives a lack of commitment, prompting a laugh from Henry. However, Conte’s steely demeanour remained, leaving one to wonder the validity of his words!
