The Super Sunday encounter between Manchester City and Everton turned out to be a historic game as it ended in the heaviest defeat of Pep Guardiola’s managerial career so far.
The tactical shrewdness displayed by Ronald Koeman was excellent and his former team-mate had no reply to the onslaught of goals produced by Everton.
Everton youngster Tom Davies made his full debut on the day and whilst many would term this a baptism by fire, the youngster came out strong and delivered a performance to remember. His excellent overall performance was capped off by an absolutely superb goal.
There was, however, a small yet amazing moment many might have missed after the goal.
Mason Holgate, who himself had slotted into the 3-man defence comfortably, watched eagerly as his youth side team-mate struck home the goal and then celebrated it with some epic skips. See the celebration you might have missed here:
