Despite being amongst the best sides the Premier League has to offer, both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur come into their highly anticipated game this weekend in very different runs of form.
Whilst Spurs have looked like a well-oiled machine in recent weeks, City have looked like a side struggling for fresh ideas.
It’s a unique situation for Pep Guardiola, who has never had to face such adversity in his managerial career until now. With Barcelona and Bayern Munich, Pep was used to being the hunter; as of now, his Manchester City side are the hunted ones.
And if statistics are to be believed, it won’t get better for them, at least not this weekend. A Spurs fan account on Twitter recently put two and two together and attempted to make four, literally.
According to the analysis that uses two key stats pertaining to both City and Tottenham, the North London side are currently poised to score at least four goals against the Citizens!
