(Tweets) “Cometh the hour…” – Brighton fans react to David Stockdale’s unreal double save during 2-1 win v Wednesday

Brighton’s 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday had absolutely everything a thrilling game can offer: 3 red cards, missed penalty, and a dramatic late match-winner.

The result saw the Chris Hughton-led side secure the top Championship spot by overtaking Newcastle United in the tight race for promotion.

Anthony Knockaert yet again proved to be the main man for the Seagulls, as the Frenchman not only scored the first goal but even set Falmer Stadium on fire after he snatched the result in his side’s favour just 5 minutes before the referee blew his whistle for good.

Brighton must also give major credits to keeper David Stockdale for his stunning penalty save against Wednesday’s Forestieri wherein he first sharply dived right to keep the ball out, and followed almost immediately with a breathtaking denial to the low rebound with an astonishing fingertip save.
