Leeds United entered the top-3 of the Championship table after beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Elland Road yesterday.
Talismanic striker Chris Wood increased his season’s tally to a mammoth 20 goals. But Wood’s milestone was overshadowed on the night after a prolific goal in the 74th minute from Souleymane Doukara.
The Frenchman fired in a thundering volley that found itself home in the top corner, just two minutes after coming on as a substitute for Stuart Dallas.
When Forest’s defence went disarray after a Leeds corner was headed out rather shoddily, Doukara used the chaos to his advantage and struck a blistering strike from outside the box, leaving players and fans absolutely wild in celebrations.
Check out Doukara’s screamer of a volley with some equally delightful commentary below!
