Liverpool may have started the season well but are currently approaching crisis mode. Having only won one game since the start of 2017, the Reds have seen themselves being knocked out of both the FA Cup and the EFL Cup and should this continue, their bid to win a maiden Premier League title may send soon as well.
However, it isn’t all doom and gloom for the club. For the first time in years, there seems to be a purpose around everything being done for the club; not only does this apply to the first team, but also to the youngsters as well.
One player who is likely to play a key part in that future is Ryan Kent. The 20-year old winger is highly regarded by many and is currently out on loan to Barnsley. During the side’s 1-0 victory over Rotherham, he managed to grab an absolute peach of an assist for the winner, sending in a through ball that left the defence for dead.
