After a period of turmoil, Liverpool got back on track somewhat with a gritty 1-1 draw against Chelsea midweek. The new year has been woeful for the Reds so far with only one win in the 9 games. They have already crashed out of both the cup competitions, and have dropped to the 4th spot in the Premier League standings.
The confidence is low, but there is good news for the fans as Sadio Mane is back from his duties in AFCON and Jordan Henderson seems to be slowly getting back in the groove in the middle of the pitch.
But the biggest reason for excitement is that star man Philippe Coutinho is up and running again. And even though the Brazilian couldn’t contribute much in the draw against Chelsea, Liverpool fans are expecting the tricks and plays of the old Coutinho to surface again, starting with the match against Hull this weekend.
The Brazilian midfielder trained with the Liverpool squad yesterday and was spotted with a rather debatable new haircut.
