Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Arsenal was pretty much the Eden Hazard show. The Belgian attacker was in imperious form and his display was capped off with an impressive solo goal that saw him make both Laurent Koscielny and Francis Coquelin look ordinary. Whilst the whole team played well, Hazard was easily the best of the lot.
It wasn’t just the runs he made, however, that saw the Belgian trouble Arsenal so much. No, it was an impressive all-round display from him as he started attacks, sprayed passes from end to end and looked dangerous any time he was in possession. Too often the Gunners defence had to revert to fouling Hazard.
There was one such moment that went largely unnoticed by many as Hazard picked up the ball inside his own half and Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi was immediately over to mark him.
With one little feint, the winger made Mustafi commit to the tackle before he comfortably switched the play, making the German look like an absolute amateur.
