Manchester United loanee Andreas Pereira is making a name for himself in Spain. Currently on loan at Granada CF, the Brazilian has been a standout star for the struggling Andalusian side.
Pereira, a product of PSV and United’s youth academy, struggled to gain first team football at Old Trafford due to the presence of bigger names on the team sheet. But his loan spell at the relegation contenders this season has been extremely fruitful, with the midfielder now having scored thrice in the 19 games he has played.
On Monday night home game against Las Palmas, the Red Devils’ loanee controlled the ball outside the area with a brilliant first touch and then launched an unstoppable volley into the top right corner, scoring the only goal of the game. Interestingly, it’s just the second league win for Granada this season and Pereira was on the scoresheet the first time they won too, at home against Sevilla.
