It’s safe to say Chelsea have defied all expectations this season with their amazing Premier League form. The Blues, having finished a lowly 10th just the previous year, are once again poised to retain their place on the summit of English football. A lot of credit for that must go to Antonio Conte.
The Italian has transformed the club with his insistence on a high work ethic and a penchant for perfection. His motivational methods have brought out the best from the same Chelsea players who looked down and out last season. What’s more, the manager is apparently already looking for ways to strengthen his squad.
His former club Juventus recently took on rivals Inter Milan. Conte was in attendance at the stadium, which is nothing unusual. However, he left the stadium at around the same time that Juventus star Paulo Dybala was substituted, leading to speculation that he may have been there to scout the Argentine sensation.
