Man United leaps and bounds ahead of rivals when it comes to most-watched PL games in US TV history

Love for football has grown leaps and bounds in every corner of the world and USA has been one of the biggest contributories to this.

With players like Tim Howard and Clint Dempsey making their mark in England, the popularity of Premier League teams amongst Americans has been proven by 2014’s famous Manchester United – Real Madrid face off in Michigan’s Rose Bowl stadium that drew a staggering 109,318 spectators.

Evident from that particular exhibition game, it appears that the Red Devils dominate the list of most followed PL clubs in the US.

As it turns out, 15 of the 25 most-watched EPL games in American TV history involve Manchester United, and their fixture against Arsenal in November 2014 pulled a massive viewership of 1.41 million.

Other PL giants like Chelsea and Man City also fared very well on the list. Although bitter rivals Liverpool does not seem to have a lot of viewership despite having American owners.
