Chelsea’s most recent victory over Arsenal was a game full of highlights. Whether through Eden Hazard’s superb solo goal or Fabregas’ goal that was practically assisted by Petr Cech or even Giroud’s last-minute consolation, the game had a number of good moments, even if the result was a straightforward win for the Blues.
The fact that Chelsea won the game so easily was down once again to their midfield and defensive control. One player who has been key to both those departments has been N’Golo Kante; the Frenchman has shown the same class and work-rate that he did at Leicester, and Chelsea are better off for it.
However, the midfield workman did have a small little highlight of his own as well. Running to recover the ball and coming up against his compatriot Laurent Koscielny, Kante pulled off a quick change in direction that left Koscielny practically for dead, in a moment that might have been missed by many.
