Wolverhampton Wanderers might not be having the time of their lives in the Championship, but they have won laurels off the field, and their social media team definitely deserves a raise for this.
In a bid to overhaul the décor at Molineux Stadium, the club has roped in freelance artist Alexander Wells, who has done some stunning work in decorating the stadium’s tunnels and dressing rooms.
Apart from redesigning infrastructure, Wolverhampton’s social media team decided to mark the occasion of Wolverhampton’s next fifth-round FA Cup fixture against Chelsea with a special edition of the decorating programme.
Wells came up with a breath-taking illustration of the club’s wolf challenging Chelsea’s blue lion right before the two sides clash on Saturday.
While Chelsea will be favourites to win the game, Wolves are surely not to be taken lightly as they have beaten top-flight clubs like Liverpool to reach this stage.
