After a disappointing mid-week Europa League game against Gent resulted in a 1-0 defeat, Tottenham found themselves back to winning ways following the FA Cup’s fifth round 3-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The main man for Mauricio Pochettino’s side was striker Harry Kane, whose sheer brilliance helped him score a hattrick and net his 19th goal of the season.
Sticking true to his role as the chief architect of Tottenham’s goals, Christian Eriksen assisted two goals of Kane’s hat-trick. This fluidity of this link-up between the duo shouldn’t come as a big surprise, since four of Eriksen’s last six assists have been for Harry Kane goals.
And apart from the assists, the 25 year-old Danish midfielder, in a moment during the game, also humiliated Fulham’s left-back Scott Malone while making a thundering run towards the goal.
