The FA Cup fixture last night provided Spurs a chance for them to get their form back on track with a visit to fellow London club Fulham and as many expected, they saw them off quite comfortably.
The 3-0 win saw Harry Kane shine again, as the England man netted a hat-trick to ensure his side made it through to the quarterfinals of the tournament. However, whilst the striker stole the headlines, it must be noted that it was an all-round good performance from the side.
A large part of Spurs good play was down to Harry Winks, who kept things tidy in midfield. The young Englishman has done well whenever he has gotten a chance to play this season and was also involved in the build-up to Spurs’ second goal yesterday.
The youngster who has been heavily compared with former Spurs man Luka Modric controlled the temp of the play with a neat little turn and turned on the attack with a neat pass to free Kieran Tripper on the right wing.
