The season has been a forgettable one for West Ham United so far after much expectation from the side after last season and their move to the Olympic Stadium. Despite the move, the most newsworthy happenings have been the sale of Dimitri Payet to Marseille and flirting with relegation at a point in time.
That being said, it isn’t necessarily all doom and gloom. The youth side have been doing alright and some of that is down to the signing of Nathan Holland. Arriving from Everton, the winger has been hailed as “the next Ryan Giggs” by many and during a game against Fulham U23s, he showed just why.
During the West ham U23s win over Fulham, the young winger scored his third goal in as many games with an absolute beauty of a shot. Cutting in from the left wing, he then unleashed a pinpoint accurate shot that curled straight into the bottom corner and beyond the reach of the goalkeeper.
