Newcastle fan requests pictures of Rafa Benitez in his room, the hotel delivers (Photos)

If one of the most important yardsticks to measure a hotel’s reputation is how they treat their guests’ requests, a Newcastle United fan has found his favourite hotel.

When Kevin Monaghan booked a room in Dublin’s Academy Plaza Hotel, he made an unusual request, asking the hotel to grace his room with a Rafa Benitez picture.

Sticking true to their promise of making their guest’s stay enjoyable, the hotel duly complied and really did put up a picture of the manager.

After Benitez decided to stay on as the Magpies manager despite a horrific 2015-16 season, the Spaniard has become a legend of sorts for Newcastle fans.

From a local newspaper petition seeking his continuance as the manager, to fans unfurling massive flags of the boss at St. James Park, Rafael Benitez has found a new home at Newcastle.
