West Ham’s move to the London Olympic Stadium was well documented last season, with many questioning how the side could regularly sell out games in the massive stadium. Whilst the move made financial sense, it hasn’t yielded much on-field success for the Hammers, at least not yet.
There was also the fact that the club had to move out of their long-standing home of Boleyn Ground that had some long time fans hesitant over the move.
In order to showcase their last season at this stadium, a movie titled “Iron Men” was made and premiered in London on Thursday evening.
Naturally, the current West Ham squad turned up for the premiere alongside manager Slaven Bilic. However, what got many fans talking were the boots sported by Andy Carroll at the event.
The big target man was sporting a pair of pink boots that might have made any fashionista proud, but instead made him the butt of jokes.
