Pic: Tottenham hitman flanked by Messi & Benzema in Gazetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Week

The recent form of Tottenham Hotspur has been a joy to behold for fans of the North London side. Currently sitting in 2nd place and right behind Chelsea, it seems unlikely that they will miss out on Champions League qualification this season, a fate that many expected might befall them.

A large part of their good form comes from Harry Kane. The English striker has always been a top-notch goalscorer, but his recent form has been on quite another level. He seemingly cannot stop scoring and is currently topping the Golden Boot charts, ahead of star strikers like Diego Costa and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Kane was once again on target during Spurs’ win over Everton, bagging himself a brace and putting in a good all-round performance.

This was enough to land him in Gazetta dello Sport’s “Team of the Week”, alongside superstars of world football like Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema.
