Jeff Stelling’s embarrassing rant on Sky Sports after Leeds’ Kalvin Phillips was sent off v Fulham (Video)

Fulham and Leeds United will equally share a point each following a 1-1 draw in their last encounter at Craven Cottage on Tuesday.

The game began with the unlucky home side giving the advantage away to Leeds after Fulham’s Tim Ream scored a shocking own goal early in the fifth minute.

A big controversy emerged twenty minutes later when Neeskens Kenabo seemed to have equalised the game 1-1 with a shot that clearly appeared to have crossed the goal line but was unfairly denied by the officials.

Leeds’ Kalvin Phillips was shown a second yellow card for a bad tackle on Scott Parker and the player took ages to leave the pitch, only to see Tom Cairney score a late equalizer in the 95th minute.

The dramatic turn of events took a massive toll on Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling, who subjected his viewers to an embarrassing rant while discussing the two incidents.

  1. Nothing embrassing about that. The player took far too long to leave the pitch. What did all that time wasting do? Add five minutes to clock for Fulham to score.

    1. Last season Forestieri did exactly the same thing, he took that long the ref thought he’d left the field and allowed Leeds to score only to disallow it as Forestieri had not left the field of play and I don’t recall Stelling having a rant at him.
