(Video) The first thing Efe Ambrose did after his MOTM display for Hibs was to acknowledge parent club Celtic

When you’re sent on loan to another club, a footballer may often have some resentment towards their parent club. Sometimes the future may hold a lot of anxiety, however, some players take the opportunity and attempt to make the most of it; remaining professional and, rarely, even humble.

During interview after a Man of the Match display for Hibernian, Efetobore ‘Efe’ Ambrose expressed appreciation for the opportunity to play for the club, describing it as a “big privilege”. In a commendable gesture, he prefaced this by thanking parent club Celtic FC for providing him with a chance to play through the loan spell.

His humility and sense of gratitude would have won him a lot of hearts to go along with his match-winning display for Hibs against Dundee United.
