With 66 points in the bag and an eye on the play-off spots, the Peacocks are just about everywhere this season, and one even got Toulouse striker Martin Braithwaite excited recently.
When a peacock decided to be a guest in Braithwaite’s backyard, the Danish forward provoked some exhilarating reactions from Leeds fans by linking the event with the club’s name.
Braithwaite tweeted a video of the bird and impressed Leeds fans with his knowledge of their lesser-know nickname, so much so that they even requested the club’s manager and co-owner to place the player’s signing on priority basis.
The 25 year-old has scored 11 goals from 27 appearances for Toulouse this season, and has been linked with Premier League clubs like West Ham and Sunderland.
Rumours of Gary Monk’s interest in the player have surfaced in the past, and this is certainly going to get the fans a whole lot more excited this time.
