To say that Arsenal are a club in crisis would be something of an understatement. Having been knocked out of Europe in humiliating fashion, they are currently struggling for form in the Premier League as well. Their poor form continued this week as they suffered a convincing 3-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion.
The poor form is clearly getting to the players as well, as was all too evident in their body language during the game. No one seemed to try and step up and maybe change the game in some way; most just hung their heads, dejected at the fact that the side weren’t able to experience a turnaround.
This was especially evident after West Brom scored their 3rd goal. Most Arsenal players simply trudged back to the centre line, waiting for play to kick off again. The only one who seemed willing to maybe try something was Nacho Monreal, who actually took the ball to the centre to get play restarted.
