With March drawing to an end, the Premier League title race might not be over in mathematical terms, but no one expects any other side except Chelsea to win the title. Such has been the dominance of Antonio Conte’s men that even 2nd placed Tottenham are 10 points behind them.
However, it speaks to the quality present in the Premier League sides that in WhoScored’s recently released “Premier League Team of 2017” that not a single Chelsea player is in the side, despite how dominant they have been as a unit. Rather, the team is filled with players from clubs outside the top 4 as well.
Aside from the presence of Calum Chambers, Harry Maguire and Aleksandar Kolarov, the team is dominated by players from three sides: Spurs, Everton and Manchester United. Amazingly, it is Everton who have the most number of representations with three whilst United and Spurs have two each.
