Trolling Rangers fan gets a taste of his own medicine courtesy of a brilliant reply from Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths

In a world where social media is more omnipresent in our lives than ever before, it is no surprise that it has affected even the world of football. Players, clubs, managers and even fanbases getting trolled by attention-seeking is the norm in today’s times, rather than the exception.

Thus, when Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths was trolled about his recent injury with some jibes at his chequered history with his philandering ways, no one was surprised. The fact that it was a Rangers fan doing the trolling was even less shocking. What was amazing, though, was his comeback.

Rather than make any personal remarks, the striker simply brushed it off with a laugh and made a simple statement that showcased two things: his underrated trolling ability as well as the gulf in class between the two Old Firm rivals this season, something that sticks in the craw of Rangers fans.

  1. If any of those Huns had a brain they’d keep their mouths shut after being completely destroyed this season. Instead they have two brain cells fighting for space and moronic statements like these come out.

  2. Since celtic won European cup they have changed there name 3 times and when Fergus mccann saved celtic he had to change it again does this mean celtic are a second ?
