This season has seen a lot of positive developments at Leeds United. Once seen as an example of what can happen to a club when too much money floods in, the side are now finally beginning to climb out of the rut they’ve been in for so many years, in large part thanks to the management of Garry Monk.
A good run of form and the hopes of more money being pumped in thanks to new co-owner Andrea Radrizzani means Leeds fans are more bullish than they have been in years. However, it seems the Italian has a different kind of development in mind for the club.
Responding to a Leeds supporter on Twitter, Radrizzani stated that he plans on re-instating the Leeds United women’s team. What’s more, he also made it clear that it was just one step in his plans for bringing in equal representation in the club.
