In an era where most managers struggle to deal with the intense fan and media scrutiny, Arsene Wenger has held his own against the popular abuse for over two decades.
While there is no denying that the lack of trophies certainly goes some way to justifying the criticisms hurled at him, one can’t help but admire the grace with which Wenger deals with fans and media alike.
The Frenchman was at it yet again on Sunday as his Arsenal side faced Manchester City in a season defining match. The match which saw Arsenal fans embroiled in a shocking clash among themselves ended in a 2-2 draw to end Arsenal’s 2 match losing streak in the league.
Wenger reminded everyone of the great wit he possesses with another classic response to a fan as he stopped to sign autographs outside the Emirates post Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
On being told that he should stay on as Arsenal manager, check out how th boss replied in the tweet below!
