Arsenal’s game against Manchester City came at the most inopportune time for the club. Saddled with poor form and infighting amongst the fanbase, they couldn’t have found a worse time to face Pep Guardiola’s men. The game itself saw banners unfolded, subtly egging Wenger to leave.
To make matters worse, there was also footage captured of Gooners throwing fists at one another – not exactly the recipe for an ideal atmosphere to intimidate a rival side.
However, Arsenal managed to escape with a point thanks to a second half header from defender Shkodran Mustafi.
After the goal, a call for unity in celebration came from a rather unlikely source: Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean is reportedly frustrated at his situation at Arsenal and has been vilified on social media. Yet he was the only one trying to make sure that everyone celebrated the goal together.

I might delete this shortly as I don’t want to sabotage the Alexis propaganda. Y’know, the petulant c**t agenda. pic.twitter.com/PJ1d0nJA8W
