Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre is all set to take over the post of general manager at Bundesliga’s second division outfit 1860 Munich this summer.
The 53 year-old joined Liverpool in 2007 and has been the club’s chief executive since 2013. Ayre recently announced his decision to join the Munich outfit in his capacity as general manager.
Ayre claimed that he spoke to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp about his decision, and the German had the following to say about it –
