Pep Guardiola getting into every Tottenham fans good books with this comment post Chelsea game

Secret Spurs Fan?

Pep Guardiola has not had an ideal debut season. The Spaniard, considered the best manager in the world by many, has not been able to recreate the magic of his opening spell at Barcelona and Bayern Munich in terms of silverware.

While it’s unlikely that his shortcomings would lead to dismissal, he does seem to have secured himself at least one other destination should he require it.

Tottenham fans were pleasantly surprised by one of Pep’s answers following his Manchester City side’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

When asked about whether he felt Chelsea had sealed the title with the victory, the Catalan was quick to remind reporters that Spurs were still in the fight.

While it may be a longshot, Tottenham are still in the hunt as they trail Chelsea by 7 points with 8 games to play this season. Guardiola would most likely have preferred to be a front-runner in that race but he may have just let us in on which side he’s rooting for.

  1. Not so fucking clever now, is he? Got rid of Hart, and brought in a bloke who can pass BUT CAN’T CATCH A FUCKING BALL WHEN IT’S KICKED AT HIM.

I’ll be surprised if he’s still at City at the end of next season.
