The star of Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Watford on Saturday was undoubtedly Heung-Min Son. The Korean international scored two goals and provided an assist for what was a must-win game for Spurs if they wanted to keep pace with Chelsea.
Somewhat amusingly, the winger also provided a moment for the highlight reel during his post-game interview with Kieran Trippier.
When asked about how much credit Trippier deserved for the assist made for one of his goals, Son stopped short of saying his name then referred to him as “my friend”, saving the situation somewhat.
See Son’s brain-freeze moment and the impressive recovery below:
I challenge anyone to try and tell me that Son didn’t forget Trippiers name right here. pic.twitter.com/fCcMMEdLjb
