Jose Mourinho has a style of management that is unique, if nothing else. The Portuguese manager is no stranger to using public criticism to get his own players fired up; it is a method that has worked well for him in the past and he seems to be using the same strategy at Manchester United.
His latest target has been Luke Shaw. The highly rated English left back has caught some flak for not being fully committed to his fitness from even Louis van Gaal in the past. However, Mourinho’s outbursts had many fearing for the United future of Shaw.
So, it was a sight for the sore eyes when the following exchange took place between the two. After substituting Shaw during the side’s 3-0 win over Sunderland, Mourinho walked up to the player and shook his hand then offered some words of encouragement as he walked towards the tunnel.
