Newcastle United’s morale might be running high on the backdrop of their stellar run this season, but the Magpies will certainly be expecting a tough time hosting Leeds United this Saturday.
Newcastle humbled the Peacocks 2-0 during their last fixture at Elland Road in November, but despite being the better side on the table currently, manager Rafael Benitez refused to give in to overconfidence during a presser today.
The Spanish manager not only reiterated the need for his players to give their everything during the upcoming crucial fixture, but even went a step further to credit Leeds boss Garry Monk for bringing up his side to such levels of success.
Rafa heaped praise on his Leeds counterpart by admiring his ability to remain calm under pressure and for bringing his club up to the fifth position on the table with repeated victories.
