Arsenal had missed out on a shot at the Premier League title last season against Leicester City, but at least they could console themselves by celebrating St. Totteringham’s Day like they usually do. Sadly, even this could be snatched away from them this year.
Spurs have not been able to finish about their North London rivals since 1995, and Gooners are famously known for never missing any opportunity at reminding them of this fact.
But tables have heavily turned this time around, though, as Tottenham currently sit a massive 14 points above sixth-placed Arsenal, which is the first time they have had such a big lead over their rivals since 1963.
And while this is a golden opportunity for Tottenham fans to get back at Gooners, manager Mauricio Pochettino seems to have begun the onslaught by taking savagery to the next level by casually brushing aside Arsenal with the following statement –
