Leaked pictures show Newcastle United’s home kit for 17/18 season might be the nicest one they will have in years

It’s been a pretty solid season for Newcastle United. The Magpies might have lost their top spot in the Championship to Brighton but they’re still in line for an automatic promotion back into the Premier League.

As the season comes to a close, it’s also time for the internet to be flooded with potential leaks of what next season’s jerseys might look like. Football website Footy Headlines is always on top of the game when it comes to revealing kits, and their latest leak gives a glimpse of what Newcastle’s shirt for next season looks like.

The look is a bit of a throwback since the shirt actually features a collar. The throwback nature of the shirt is because shirt sponsor Puma is looking to create something special to honour the club on its 125th anniversary. Given how lovely the shirt looks, it’s safe to say that they succeeded in doing just that.
