“I’ll play keeper if the manager asks” – Ander Herrera’s bit with NBC post Man Utd 2-0 Chelsea was like a breath of fresh air (Video)

While often being one of the less heralded stars in the star studded Manchester United line-up, there is no doubting the inherent quality and skill of Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera. The midfielder came up with a match winning performance on Sunday as Manchester United comprehensively beat Chelsea 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Herrera was on hand for an interview with the NBC crew post the Chelsea match where the midfielder shared some rather refreshing insights of the game. Herrera dubbed the performance of the team as near perfect while also having high praise for the manager as well as Eden Hazard whom he described as the best player in the league.

On his man-marking of Hazard, the 27 year old described the man-marking of Hazard as a difficult job while also further adding that as a team player he would play anywhere (even as a goalie!!) for manager.

Ander has always been known to give his all to the team’s cause and his most recent performances and comments will only further endear him to the United faithful
