Still Got It!
When speaking of the best football talent to have come from the Asian continent, ex-Celtic man Shunsuke Nakamura is right up there with the best. The Japanese playmaker was a class act in his day, with a penchant for scoring the occasional worldie.
Now playing in Japan’s J1 League for Júbilo Iwata, the veteran has slowed down with age but his technical ability remains on point. He proved that in a recent game against Japanese champions Kashima Antlers.
With the ball landing at his feet outside the penalty area, Nakamura launched a first-touch volley straight into the top corner. His goal helped Júbilo Iwata to a 3-0 victory over the Japanese powerhouse.
