Ever since reports of Tottenham agreeing a kit sponsorship deal with US-based sportswear giant Nike emerged, speculations have been rife with regards to the purported design of Tottenham’s new kit for the 2017-18 season.
The deal will reportedly see Nike replace Under Armour as the club’s official kit supplier from next season. Needless to say, the change of sponsorship has naturally created a clamour among fans and designers alike as to the design of the new Nike shirt.
Among the many designs, one that particularly made waves was the one designed by graphic designer Rupertgraphic with the design sporting the Nike logo, the club’s crest and the AIA logo on the front.
While reports eventually established the designs as fake, it did create a furore as the possible leaked Nike shirts for next season even making its way to China..!!
As seen from the picture below, Chinese manufacturers have quickly adopted the design into the new shirts with the shirt for sale on Chinese shopping site AliExpress.
