Chelsea took yet another massive toward the Premier League title as they overcame Southampton 4-2 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday. A brace from Diego Costa along with goals from Eden Hazard and Gary Cahill capped off a dominating display from the league leaders as they pulled themselves seven points clear at the top of the table.
With the two sides exhibiting an exhilarating display of football on the pitch, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte provided just as much action on the touchline.
The Italian has always been renowned for his fiery and passionate touchline antics and celebrations and this was the case yet again as he spotted kicking a medical bag at the touchline.
While not being a tad dangerous, Conte surely did beat the life out of one Chelsea staff when he kicked the medical bag in frustration at Chelsea’s failure to properly deal with a Southampton corner. The Italian added after the match that he wanted to kick the ball but the bag took its place.
Thankfully for Conte and Chelsea, it was the bag and not the ball that put up with Conte’s frustration as kicking the ball would have resulted in Conte picking up a sending off from the referee.
