Pic: Chelsea skipper John Terry taking the mickey out of Spurs in his programme notes today

John Terry might not have been given an opportunity to play during his side’s FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham, but that has certainly not stopped him from making public his sentiments about his rivals.

The Chelsea veteran was denied a chance to start in the crucial fixture, but left no stone unturned in thrashing Spurs in his programme notes after the game.

“I love beating them,” said a jubilant John Terry in his first programme notes after announcing his departure from Chelsea at the end of this season.

Chelsea beat Tottenham 4-2 to confirm a date with tong-time London rivals Arsenal in the finals of the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium next month.

  1. beating spurs cut both ways: restored our winning mentality and shook their (somewhat fragile) confidence; we won today, they might slip tomorrow.. and then good luck them beating arsenal (who had an enormous confidence boost scrapping city, who are pretty sore and would take it out on united, who in their turn would be ready to rip spurs apart; what an exciting marry-go-round! bad news is we’re facing everton away, but no worry – we’re in for the double. FORZA CHELSEA!
