Celtic’s domination of the Scottish Premier League this season has meant the competition has been over for a very long time now. The Hoops are 28 points ahead of second placed Aberdeen and more than 30 points ahead of fierce rivals Rangers, who they beat quite handily in a one-sided game over this weekend.
The celebratory mood has been noticeable at Celtic games for a long time now, with this latest win giving more reason for celebration. And it was even more evident at the recent ceremony held by the club to crown the “Player of the Year”, with club captain Scott Brown joining in on the fun.
Taking to the stage, he was asked a question about the latest win over Rangers. The clearly inebriated skipper responded in the most Scott Brown manner by rubbishing the question and instead talking about important things such as Mikael Lustig’s visa.
Broony said: “Lustig got a British visa, been five years, it’s been long and it’s been hard but it’s been enjoyable.”
