Class act Rangers man Andy Halliday takes time out to coach kids at a local youth football club

While not being the most spectacular of players in the Rangers team, Andy Halliday has shown time and again his soft corner for the people that make the game all worthwhile; the fans.

Being a lifelong Rangers supporter himself, Halliday comes across as a rare breed of down to earth footballers who have a genuine attachment and concern for the fans.

Having personally called up season ticket holders to thank them earlier in the season, Halliday once again showed everyone his gem of a heart, this time taking time out to coach some yougsters of the Port Boys 2010.

The midfielder was involved in the training session giving his time up for the little boys. With the life of professional footballers as busy as it gets, Halliday’s actions does come across a real heart-rending and class act on part of him.
