Chelsea began life as League Champions in a most exhilarating fashion as they edged out Watford 4-3 in a seven goal thriller at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
Club captain John Terry who looks set to depart the Bridge this summer was handed a rare start in a second string Chelsea side.
Terry who has been mostly underused this season started with a bang scoring the opener for Chelsea only to gift the equalizer to Watford seconds later.
Despite his erroneous role in the Chelsea backline, the club captain was gave a performance that was nothing short of effort and determination.
This was best encapsulated by his daring clearance from his head while tumbling to the ground in a duel with Watford’s Tom Cleverley in the second half.
