While Pontus Jansson has seemingly adapted to English football with most ease, the pending transfer negotiations between Torino and Leeds United for his transfer have not been so smooth sailing.
Torino recently lodged a formal complaint to FIFA accusing Leeds of failing to meet the transfer obligations by delaying the installment payment for the defender.
The development understandably had the club and the fans concerned with Jansson being one of the key players this season for Leeds.
Leeds United though reportedly seems to have acted swiftly to quell the dispute with reliable sources claiming that Leeds have completed the first instalment of the £3.5 million fee for Jansson.
And the Leeds fans are loving the fact that the new ownership is getting done things done early and without any hiccups. Check out the reaction below –
Nice statement of intent from #lufc re: Jansson… for all Bartley's steadiness, his don't-give-a-fuck nutcasery got us going last autumn.
