With second spot all but guaranteed, one would have been forgiven for thinking that Tottenham would take it easy at the King Power Stadium on Thursday.
Yet a brilliant performance from the Tottenham team saw them steamroll past Leicester City with most ease.
While the plaudits obviously went to four goal hero Harry Kane, Tottenham’s midfield proved key in setting up Spurs dominance in the match as Spurs thoroughly won the midfield battle.
One instance of the match than exemplified this when Spurs defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama easily won the ball from his opposite counterpart Wilfred Ndidi and proceeded to take the Leicester City midfielder on a bamboozling merry go round ride.
