There is a reason why people say that football is a lot more than just a game.
To stand out as heroes endorsing this claim, a group of Celtic fans decided to mark the 50th anniversary of the historic Lisbon Lions side lifting the European Cup by cycling all the way to Lisbon’s Nacional Stadium, which was the venue that hosted the final.
It took this determined bunch of Celtic fans 14 days to cover 1300 miles and raise £41,700 in charity for the Celtic FC Foundation, Solving Kids’ Cancer, and Children In Crossfire.
