Pic: Labour party candidate Richard Burgon spotted brilliantly repping Leeds United on Election Day

It’s that time of the year when people come together to decide the fate of the leadership that would rule the United Kingdom, a country which is also known all over the world for its love for football.

While most people would prefer keeping these two subjects as far away from each other as possible, one politician is not going to shy away from showing support to his favourite club even during elections.

Labour candidate from the Leeds East constituency Richard Burgon was seen brandishing all out endorsement for Leeds United on the recently held Election Day.

Burgon, who is an out and out Peacocks faithful and even has “LUFC Supporter” proudly written on his official Twitter account’s bio, is seeking to be re-elected as an MP.

At least we know the guy Leeds fans must have voted for. Via @Radebe_Leeds, check out Burgon’s tie flashing support for Leeds United during election day telecast –
