But he ain’t complaining!
While most fans had to wait really long for their official kits for the next season to arrive this time, Magpies supporters had already seen theirs in May.
Newcastle United kits for 2017-18 have been designed specially to commemorate the club’s 125th anniversary that falls this year.
Kits suppliers Puma enthralled fans by designing a stunning classic version of the club’s iconic black and white stripes complimented with black shorts and socks.
The newest thing on the Magpies kit this time are their sponsors FUN88. Newcastle roped in the Asian online gaming company with a sponsorship contract that is said to be the biggest in the club’s history.
And while excited Toons were waiting patiently for their latest kits to be delivered soon, one such fan was in for a surprise as his shirt did not have the sponsor’s logo.
It is known that the junior kits are unbranded as part of gambling regulations. But as it was an adult top, it seems like a huge gaffe on Newcastle’s part.
