Coolest football CEO ever? – Liverpool fans will love the way Peter Moore interacts with the fans online

The end of a season marks the end of a lot of things. A player’s career, a manager’s career, and also, the end of a long and arduous quest for a silverware. Albeit at the same time, there’s also to the new beginnings. New players, managers arriving, and in some cases, new CEO. And that’s exactly what Liverpool has witnessed this summer.

Following the departure of Ian Ayre after 6 years at the helm of affairs, Peter Moore was instated as the new CEO of the club on 1st June this year. The business tycoon, who has worked as the Corporate Vice-president of Microsoft’s IBE division and also the president of SEGA of America, has added sports to his glittering CV.

A Liverpudlian by birth, Moore has already started making his mark on the Kop with his cheeky Twitter banter. The 62-year old is an active user of the social media, and it seems Twitter may be his favorite gagging ground.

One of the fans suggested him buying Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who’s available for £63 million, as he would then recoup the amount by selling his jerseys. However, Moore’s reply was absolute savage.

He wrote, poking mullocks at Aubameyang’s lengthy name, “All the profits would disappear with the cost of lettering the shirts..”

If that didn’t impress, check this out. Following the headline-grabbing acquisition of Mohammed Salah from AS Roma, the winger flew to his native Egypt with some international commitments to fulfill. However, the reaction by Moore was the one for the ages.

But this tweet below shows there is not doubt that Peter Moore is defintely one of the most coolest football CEOs out there –
